Having a problem with the Internet Classrooms Site?
Here are the solutions to the most common problems. Just click the link for the answer.

Screen Display Problems
Designing for all the various types of browsers out there, from Netscape to Internet Explorer, from Opera to PDA browsers, is a real challenge for any webdesigner. Internetclassrooms.com should be viewable on all versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape from version 3.0 on up. We recommend using the latest versions of both browsers to enjoy the full use of this Web site. Here are the download sites for Netscape and Internet Explorer. Other browsers (including text-based PDA browsers) should work adequately with the site, but if there are specific problems you would like us to know about, e-mail us at: techsupport@internetclassrooms.com .

Type looks too big or too small
We design the site to be viewed in Arial, Helios or Verdana type faces and at a medium text setting. If you have your browser preferences set to match, you'll see exactly what we see as we prepare the site. You can also adjust the size of the type on your screen under "preferences" or "options" in your browser. Most Web designers assume users are set to "medium."

I can't see your video streams?
To view the streaming media online tutoring classes on the www.internetclassrooms.com website, you'll need to make sure you have the latest download or plug-in of Microsoft Windows Media Player. Some older versions of the media players will not play our clips, which are recorded (encoded) for the latest versions. To download the latest version, click the appropriate icon that matches your operating system below. Note>>> We recommend that you view the Demo on the home page BEFORE you purchase a membership and try to view an actual class to test the functionality of your system with our site and streams.

The site doesn't work at all or looks different on my MAC?
We try to make the site viewable on all formats and types of computers. We have many Mac users as well as PC users. Some folks are still on 486-based computers with tiny 15-inch screens, while other users are seeing us on high resolution Digital LCD flat panel screens or even Plasma Displays. We try to provide a happy compromise for as many viewers as possible. We're always open to suggestions about ways to improve the site. How can we improve?

How do I enable Java?
If you see only a grey box or no image at all when you click the link for a class you have signed up for, you may not have Java enabled on your browser. Go to your browser options or preferences and click on "Java." If you are running Microsoft XP you may not see an option to click for Java on your browser options or preferences. You may need to download the Java program from Microsoft. It is not installed by default on a new XP installation. Click here to download XP Java support from Microsoft.

  Is your site secure?
At Internet Classrooms, take fraud and protection of your privacy very seriously. We use Plug n' Pay a highly secure
e-commerce merchant/subscription management corporation to process your credit card transactions. For your protection, your credit card information is never seen by our eyes, it is simply processed by Plug n' Pay's servers and
we either get a confirmation Authorization code or a Decline code.

Internet Classrooms' payment portal via Plug n' Pay (where you will be processing payments on our site) is 100% secure, and we guarantee that with the best anti-fraud policy in the business. We are so confident in our system we are able to offer you this guarantee: In the unlikely event that your credit card is used on our secure server and you didn’t authorize it, follow the reporting procedures of the card issuer, and contact us immediately. Many credit card companies will cover all of the charges that result from unauthorized use of your cards, and your maximum liability under the US
Fair Credit Billing Act is USD $50.00.

If your credit card company does hold you liable for unauthorized charges made as a result of your credit card transaction with Internet Classrooms.com while using our secure server, we will reimburse you for your remaining liability, up to the maximum of USD $50.

Where do I find the Credit Card Security Code on my Credit Card?
Your credit card security code is a code assigned to and displayed on your credit card by the credit card company. We require you to provide this code as an anti-fraud measure that protects you against unauthorized charges. Only a
person in possession of the card will have the code as it is not shown on a credit card charge slip nor on your statements. Examples of these are in the diagrams below.

Amex Requirements

4 digit, non-embossed number printed above your account number on the face of your card. This number is
recorded as an additional security precaution.

Visa, Mastercard and Discover Requirements
Card Identification #

How to use the site and what are the costs?
We have designed our site to be as inexpensive as possible for our users. Our main goal is to educate! You can view our site at no cost at all. But if you want to watch Classes, you will need to become a member which is a yearly fee of $4.00. Once you are a member you will have access to all of the class titles. And our system works very much like a video rental store. You simply choose the title you want to view, pay the viewing fee (usually $4-$10) and it's yours to
view over and over again for a full 7 days! Your video will automatically expire and there are no extended viewing fee's at Internet Classrooms!
